Understanding the health needs of our communities is essential to improving quality of life and ensuring resources are directed where they are needed most. While healthcare plays an important role in health outcomes, we understand that care delivery is only one factor impacting health. Non-profit hospitals are required to conduct a community health needs assessment every three years. Health needs identified via the assessment are subsequently addressed in conjunction with community partners. This collaborative process ensures a holistic approach to creating healthier communities. This is not a responsibility we take lightly.
The community health needs assessment is developed in partnership with community stakeholders like you. A key component of the process is a community survey that provides you with an opportunity to share your insights. Your participation is absolutely vital to this process. The more survey responses collected, the more accurate and targeted the solutions can be to address identified health issues.
