Will Stuck Storyteller

Come and see Will Stuck’s animated and exciting storytelling show here at the library! As part of the Summer Reading Program. We ask that children under the age of 7 please come accompanied by an adult. Will Stuck has been a storyteller for as long as he’s been able to speak. But these days he rarely gets sent to a principal’s office for doing so. Will has worked in the public library setting for more than two decades. The last fifteen of those years have been spent working in Children’s Services. His work isn’t limited to the youngest library patrons. He plans and performs programs for preschoolers through senior citizens both in the library and throughout northwest Missouri. Will frequently is invited to speak to groups of parents, teachers and childcare workers on “Growing Lifelong Readers”. Will’s creativity and enthusiasm has led to multiple opportunities to present Summer Reading Workshops on behalf of the Missouri State Library. At these workshops he presented ways for his fellow librarians to get the most out of their annual summer reading programs. Will’s real passion is sharing the art of storytelling as a performer or as a presenter teaching others how to “tell their story”.
