Everyone is welcome at the 2018 River Honoring and Community Potluck! It will take place on Sunday June 10th from 5-8pm at Clay County Park on the banks of the beautiful Missouri River.
The potluck starts at 5pm and continues throughout the evening. Please bring a dish to share (if you come to the potluck) and your own refreshments and chairs.
This is a chance for all of you river-lovers to share your appreciation of the river and the community it fosters. And if you’re not familiar with the river, this is a great chance to get acquainted!
At 6:00 pm the Oyate Drum will start their honoring songs, and the community is welcome to gather around the Drum. At 7:00 pm, the band East of Westreville will begin their Bluegrass/Americana tunes. The band appears as part of a grant from the South Dakota Arts Council.
