Mark your calendars for Vermillion’s fourth-annual Oktoberfest celebration, sponsored by Schell’s Brewery and HyVee Vermillion! Designed to showcase our community’s proud German heritage and the harvest season, this is an event not to be missed. Happening at Ratingen Platz, on the corner of Main and Market Streets, from 5 – 11 pm each evening, this festival features traditional Polka music with The Jolley Zuks, folk dancing, fantastic German beers, brats and other traditional foods, a Root Beer tent for kids, costumes, games, and a whole lot of fun for the whole family. Halt deine Lederhosen fest! Prost!
