Anne Dilenschneider, Scholar from the South Dakota Humanities Speaker Bureau will be presenting on the topic of Natural Burial in South Dakota. Natural Burial is when remains are placed directly into the earth, allowing the body to decompose naturally. The process has minimum impact on the environment as it does not use embalming fluid, a casket, or a burial vault.
