The Life & Music of Badger Clark at the Vermillion Public Library has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 5th at 6:00 pm. Join us as we host Pegie Douglas, South Dakota Humanities Council Speakers Bureau scholar and storyteller. Pegie will take us on a musical journey through the life of Badger Clark, South Dakota’s first Poet Laureate, who lived in Custer State Park for 30 years. This fast-paced program includes a narration of Badger Clark’s life, along with his poetry set to music. Pegie will discuss Clark’s life, then sing one of his poems, accompanying herself on guitar! This program was made possible by the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
